Amphawa Floating Market is an evening weekend market beloved by locals, set along the Amphawa Canal off the Mae Klong River in Samut Songkhram Province, roughly 50–80 km southwest of Bangkok. Unlike more touristy floating markets, it runs from the afternoon into the night and is famous for seafood grilled right on wooden boats and for firefly-viewing boat cruises.
