The Aiguille du Midi is a sharp 3,842 m rock spire in the Mont Blanc massif above Chamonix, France, reached by cable car that delivers you to one of the great viewpoints of the European Alps. SeasonEven in mid-summer the summit is often below freezing and windy. Bring a warm jacket, gloves and a hat, and pack sunglasses and sunscreen — UV reflected off the snow is intense.
